The End of the Newspaper

This is a work created for a fictional theater. It maintains a minimalist yet sophisticated design. The original photo shows a gentleman sitting in a tube on the street holding a periodical that he is asking for, giving a sense of the end of one era and the beginning of another. Furthermore, I decided to replace the tube where the man was sitting with a periodical, further exemplifying this feeling of change of eras sitting on one periodical (the previous media era), while holding another (the beginning of a new media era). The bolded letters say “Newspaper” in 3D as they appear on the screen. The man also displays an “anonymous” mask, symbolizing curiosity for who is behind it. The mask also represents hidden agendas in our society, which affect these changes in eras. We are moving forward as a society, as represented in this work.
